Nick understands the gap between being great at the work at a technician level and building a business that runs effectively from a management and executive level.
He started through a trade apprenticeship before completing tertiary education across multiple fields. Over more than 20 years in building and construction, he has worked across the technical, management and business sides of the industry.
A significant part of that experience comes from four years as General Manager of a restoration company, where he had direct responsibility for operations, financial control, systems, team performance and day-to-day business delivery.
As a construction business owner who still runs an active building company today, Nick’s approach is grounded in the realities of the industry, not theory.
He understands the pressure of managing people, protecting margins, delivering work and improving the business while it still needs to perform every day.
